LCC Performs at the 2017 Norfolk Lion's Club Parade!

         The Laurel Concord Coleridge Bear Marching Band competed in the 2017 Lion’s Club Parade in Norfolk Saturday, September 30th.  The LCC Marching Band competed in the C Division. Neligh-Oakdale won first place and Norfolk Catholic won second place.  Other results have not been released yet. LCC’s judges’ scores were very high.  There was a total of 26 marching bands in the Lion’s Club Parade on Saturday. Abbie Bloom is the LCC Band’s Drum Major leading her band of thirty – four members. The flag corps members are Chloe Hauptmann, McKenzie Ohlrich, & Glenda Vance.  The “Bear” mascot is Connor Boysen. Banner Carriers are: Elijah Griffin & Danny Puppe.  Band members are:  Flutes:  Nicole Hanson & Vanessa Vance; Clarinet: Agnes Kurtzhals; Alto Saxophones: Molly Carlson, Kolby Casey & Trace Naeve; Tenor Saxophone:  Christopher Kieser; Bari Saxophone: Cody Martin; Trumpets: Trevin Boysen, Ethan Cross,  Tyler Lubberstedt, Kayli Naeve, Deagan Puppe, Alex Specht,  & Ethan Williams; French Horn: Landen Boysen; Trombones:  Karsen Klooz & Israhel Vance; Sousaphone: Michael Kurtzhals; Drum Line: Anna Casey,  Trystin Follette, Dobrinca Hallman, Madysyn Holloway, Matthew Nelson, Nolan Ohlrich, Dillon Olson, Lucas Rasmussen & Wilton Roberts. The Laurel Concord Coleridge Bear Marching Band is under the direction of Patti Beyeler.

 

The Laurel Concord Coleridge Bear Marching Band will be competing in the Wayne Band Day on Saturday, October 7th, 2017, in Wayne, Nebraska. The Wayne Band Day Parade competition starts at 9:30 am. Hope to see you there!
