The Laurel-Concord-Coleridge weight rooms will be opening to STUDENTS ONLY on June 1, 2020. LCC prioritizes the health and safety of all students and staff and will comply with the requirements as provided by the NSAA and the Northeast Nebraska Department of Health.

These requirements will be followed when conducting voluntary strength and conditioning sessions:

  • Maintain social distancing by being 6 feet apart.
  • Follow gathering guidelines of groups of 10 or less students.
  • Groups of 10 or less must be predetermined.
  • Once groups are determined, students may not switch from one group to another.
  • Interaction between groups shall be avoided.
  • Sessions can only include weightlifting, running, and exercises designed to promote physical fitness.
  • Sport-specific drills are not permitted, and sport-specific equipment may not be used.
  • Implement diligent and effective cleaning and disinfecting of frequently touched objects and surfaces.

Additionally, NSAA member school sponsored camps, clinics, and open gyms are prohibited in any sport at this time.

Should conditions warrant, these requirements will be adjusted.

Student athletes wishing to participate in workouts hosted by LCC must have a parent sign and submit a "General Liability Waiver and Hold Harmless Agreement." Students with out a signed form on file at the High school office will not be allowed to participate in summer off-season workouts at LCC facilities.
