Driver's Education Course at LCC
Driver's Education Course at LCC School Offered by Northeast Community College
LCC School has partnered with Northeast Community College to offer Driver's Education.
The Driver's Education course consists of both a Lecture Class and a Drive Lab.
The Driver's Education instructor will be Lorie Summers.
Cost to participate in the Driver's Education course is $295 (book included).
NECC will be offering the Driver's Education course two (2) separate times.
Students need only to participate in one of the course offerings.
- Course Option 1 - January 17th through February 3rd
- Course Option 2 - August 15th through August 25th

All Class Lecture sessions will be held at LCC School in the Library Conference Room.
Drive Lab experiences will be arranged between the student and the instructor.
In order to be eligible to take this course, students must be 14-17 years old and must have one of the following DMV-issued permits prior to Drive Lab experiences: School Learners Permit (LPE), School Permit (SCP) or Learner's Permit (LPD).
The registration deadline for the first Driver's Education course offering is Friday, January 15th.
To Register: Please complete the provided Registration Form and submit to Northeast Community College with payment prior to the deadline. Parents may also call Northeast to get registered for the class at 402.844.7216 or 402.844.7000. NECC can take information over the phone to register for the class. Payment is required at time of registration. There is no on-line registration option.
