Home Sweet Homecoming 2022
LCC School- The 2022 Homecoming Week of celebrations was a smashing hit for our high school, and school spirit was through the roof.
Homecoming Bonfire- Madalynn Graham
The LCC Spirit Club held the annual Bonfire Sunday, September 25th, to kick off Homecoming Week. Each sports group, including Girls’ Golf, Cross Country, Volleyball, and Football, had poster signings for the public. The actual bonfire did not happen due to the windy weather. The 2022 Royalty Court was announced to the public, and class games followed the presentation of the Royalty Candidates. Powderpuff games were held: girls coached the boys in volleyball, and the boys coached girls in football. Everyone was excited to start off Homecoming Week in a fun way.

Homecoming Pep Rally- Skylar Swanson
This year at the LCC Homecoming Pep-Rally, the seniors brought back the tradition of the Homecoming Pep-Rally Parade. The parade consisted of the Seniors through Freshmen decorating a themed float to drive on Wakefield Street and then down Main Street, where a whole crowd was waiting to see the floats and candy was thrown. Many sponsors participated, including A/C Chiropractic, Missa Sue’s, Security and Citizens Bank, The Scoop, and Make it Mine designs. The pep rally was filled with games, the announcement of the homecoming candidates, and getting to know each sports team just a little bit more. We are so thankful for the community support, and we are glad to see everyone coming to join in the celebration. The fantastic “ESPN” announcers-Kolten Settje, Dylan Taylor, and Jackson Hall- talked us through the pep rally and gave us outstanding commentary. The Bear Squad performed an incredible routine, and the high schoolers participated in relay races to build their school spirit.
