On Tuesday, April 29th, the LCC Track and Field team traveled to Ponca. It was a beautiful day for running. For the boys: Dayton Korth -4th in pole vault, Weston Patefield -5th in pole vault, Dayton Korth -6th in triple jump, Jaylen Carpenter -5th in shot put, Shane Langford -6th in the 800, Preston Rose -2nd in the 1600. For the boys relays: Hunter McGhee, Carter Korth, Hunter Benson, and Ian Sohler -5th in the 4x400 Relay; Shane Langford, Sebastian Van Drongelen, Hunter Benson, and Carter Korth -3rd in the 4x800 Relay. For the girls: Tali Erwin -1st in high jump, Grace Galvin -3rd in long jump, Laney Folkers -6th in long jump, Laney Folkers -4th in triple jump, Tae Settje -4th in the 100, Tae Settje -5th in the 200, Hattie McCorkindale -5th in the 400, Carlie Kvols -2nd in the 800, Kate Tasler -2nd in the 1600, Faith Galvin -4th in the 1600, Justice Olson -6th in the 1600, Faith Galvin -4th in the 3200. For the girls relays: Hattie McCorkindale, Tali Erwin, Tyler Recob, and Carlie Kvols -3rd in the 4x400 Relay; Carlie Kvols, Tyler Recob, Justice Olson, and Kate Tasler -2nd in the 4x800 Relay.
