Girls Golf

The girls golf team has had a great start to their season this year with the girls receiving top-two team finishes at every meet so far! On August 21st the Girl’s Golf team kicked-off their season at Beemer. The girls placed runner-up at the meet with Harper Bruning finishing 6th and Alyza Leonard finishing 7th. Then the bears competed in the Wayne meet on August 29th and came home with another runner-up finish. Individually Holly Patefield placed 8th, Harper Bruning 9th, and Alyza Leonard 16th. The previous meet the girls competed in the Staton meet taking an outstanding first place finish. Individually Holly Patefield 4th, Kennedy Hall 7th, Alyza Lenoard 9th, and Harper Bruning 11th. Assistant coach Peters shared, “Practices have been marked by consistent effort and focus, with athletes demonstrating steady growth while maintaining a positive team atmosphere. With six meets remaining, the team is preparing for district competition in Wayne during the first week of October. Coach Patefield and I are both proud of the athletes’ progress over the past month and look forward to continued development and success as the season advances.”
