On Tuesday, October 7th, members of the LCC Esports team went to Midland University on a campus visit. The people who attended the field trip were Craig Karnes, Mara Droppers, Hunter Benson, Ben Pico-Towne, Shane Langford, Paul Allison, and Tyrelle Sims. Once they arrived, they got an introduction explaining what Midland University has for programs, what Midland’s beliefs are, and their enrollment is like. Then, the Esports members got a tour of the campus and had some lunch at Midland’s dining hall. After lunch, LCC met up with the Midland Esports coach and got a tour of the Esports room. Also, LCC received a lot of knowledge about what the Midland Esports team has done and what college Esports is in general.
