State Volleyball

LCC secured their first ever state tournament win by defeating the third seed Norfolk Catholic 3–1 on November 6th, advancing to the semifinals. The crowd showed their support by "Blacking Out" the stands with Bear gear. On Friday, the students decided to say "Aloha" to the school, and went to support the Lady Bears down in Lincoln. The Bears made program history by sweeping the seven seed, Oakland Craig, 3–0 to earn their first trip to a state championship in 23 years. On Saturday, the crowd was hoping for an early Christmas gift from the Bears. In the Championship game, LCC won the second set but ultimately lost to Freeman 3–1 in a close match, with the fourth set going to extra points (27-29). Despite their hard fought efforts, the Lady Bears volleyball team finished as the Class C2 runners up at the 2025 Nebraska State Volleyball Tournament entering as the six seed. The crowd really showed their school spirit during this time. Everyday they showed up, supported, and cheered loud for our Lady Bears. The student section brought energy throughout the tournament, and the crowd had just about as much fun as the players did during the State Volleyball Tournament. Showing up with all their fun and creative outfits including fatheads, wigs, and cowbells,  the crowd supported the Lady Bears through a tough week of exciting volleyball.
