Boys Basketball

The LCC bears boys basketball team is 4-6. Here is what Coach Conner thinks about how the season is going and some goals he has for the end of the season: “This season is going okay so far. One would always hope to have more wins at this point but we have done some good things so far as a team that we can be proud of. We are entering the middle 3rd of a schedule and have ample opportunities to find some wins here in the next few weeks if we compete and execute. Excited to continue to see our young guys step up and improve through the remainder of the year and as we enter postseason play. I am not huge on end of the year goals as a coach, as I really like to take things day by day and game by game. With that being said, I would really like to put ourselves in a position where we can compete for the GNAC conference championship. The conference is pretty wide open and at our best I think we are in the mix. Especially this year with the conference finals being held here at LCC that would be a great experience for our program if we found ourselves there on championship Saturday.” The Bears next matchup is Wayne on Tuesday, Summerland on Friday, and Neligh Oakdale on Saturday.
