This past Saturday the LCC High School speech team traveled to Hartington to participate in a speech meet. Team members gave their best efforts in their events and represented the school well. Faith Galvin placed third in Extemporaneous Speaking in the varsity final round. Cloey Young placed third in Poetry in the next-in final round. Ambriella Kock placed sixth in PIO in Novice. Many other members also participated in different events. All participants received valuable feedback from the judges that they can use going forward into the rest of their season. The team’s next meet will be on February 13th in Wakefield.
