Please join us in congratulating LCC Senior Faith Galvin on being selected as a 2026-27 NSAA Believer & Achiever!

The Believers & Achievers program, presented by Currency and the Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA), is a statewide awards program designed to recognize Nebraska’s future leaders.

Only 48 Nebraska high school seniors from across the state were selected for this prestigious honor.

As a Believer & Achiever, Faith will:

🏀 Be recognized at the 2027 NSAA Girls and Boys State Basketball Championships in March
🎓 Be featured on a Believers & Achievers poster sent to all NSAA member schools
💰 Have the opportunity to be among eight students selected to receive a $1,000 college scholarship from Currency at a scholarship banquet in April 2027

We are incredibly proud of Faith and this well-deserved recognition of her leadership, character, accomplishments, and commitment to her school and community.

Due to the weather over the last couple weeks, the track project is still in progress. If you are at the football game tonight you will notice that the entirety of the track is roped off. Please keep off the track, and be sure to stay outside of the roped off areas. Thank you for your assistance!

What a sweet celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month! 🇪🇸💃

Our kindergarten students delighted our high school Spanish teacher with a joyful performance of “Bate, bate, chocolate!” Their smiles, enthusiasm, and love of learning made this a special moment for everyone. ❤️

Attached are the girls golf tee times for next Tuesdays district invite at Atkinson!

*JH Football @ Ponca will be played as scheduled, Thursday, October 1st at 4:00PM. However the game will be played on their practice field that is located just to the North of their game field in Ponca. There is very little seating so it would be a good idea to bring a lawn chair if you are planning on attending!*

📚 Parent-Teacher Conferences are Thursday, October 1st!

We look forward to connecting with our LCC families during Parent-Teacher Conferences from 11:00 AM–6:00 PM.

🔹 Elementary (PK–5): Parents should attend at their scheduled conference time.
🔹 Middle School (6–8) & High School (9–12): Conferences are drop-in style—stop in and visit with your child’s teachers anytime during the conference window.

Students are invited and encouraged to attend conferences with their parents. These conversations are a great opportunity to celebrate progress, discuss goals, and strengthen the partnership between home and school.

If you need to reschedule or connect with a teacher at another time, please contact your child’s teacher or the school office at 402-256-3133.

📌 Reminder: There is NO SCHOOL for all PK–12 students on Thursday, October 1st and Friday, October 2nd.
