Congratulations to the Bulldog Junior High Track & Field team for earning runner-up honors at the GNAC Junior High Conference Meet today. We are so very proud of all your efforts Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs - great job coaches & athletes!

🏀 LCC Boys Basketball Youth Camp is Back! 🏀
We’re excited to invite all boys entering 1st–8th grade to join us for two fun-filled days of basketball, learning, and competition!

Whether your child is just getting started or already loves the game, this camp is a great opportunity to build skills, make friends, and have a blast in a positive, encouraging environment.
Come learn from our LCC coaches and players while developing fundamentals, teamwork, and a love for the game!

Senior Stella Kock was awarded one of 19 DJ's Heroes Scholarship Awards on Tuesday, April 28th. DJ's Heroes is a scholarship program run through the Salvation Army that recognizes students who have lived through tremendous difficulties and maintained a high level of achievement and good moral character.

GNAC Junior High and High School Track Meets will be held this Friday and Saturday @ Hartington. Just a heads up that for the JH meet admission will be $3 Adults $2 Students and for the HS meet admission will be $6 Adults and $4 Students. No passes accepted.

LCC students from middle school and high school proudly represented our school at the GNAC Art Show held at West Holt—and their talent truly stood out!
At the high school level, purple ribbons are awarded for Best in Category, and our students earned top honors:
✨ Textiles & Fabrics – Laney Folkers, “Tom Holland” (embroidery and ink)
✨ Sculpture – Emma Heithold, “Two-Faced” (carving)
✨ Printmaking – Laney Folkers, “Tom Holland” (prints on marbleized paper)
✨ Colored Drawing – Ashlynn Gewock, “Home Sweet Home” (architectural colored pencil)
At the junior high level, Best in Category purple ribbons were awarded to:
🌟 Printmaking – Ainsley Lubberstedt, “Remi” (colored prints)
🌟 Black & White – Valerie Nelson, “For The Love Of A Horse” (charcoal drawing)

District III Music Contest was hosted by LCC High School on April 24th. Twelve schools brought 572 music students to Laurel to perform for nine judges throughout the day. The LCC Band results are: Superior Rating by all three judges and a plaque for both the Concert Band & the Jazz Band; a Superior Rating for the LCC Percussion Ensemble’s performance of “La Bamba” arranged by Diane Downs & Rick Mattingly.
Derek Nelson received a Superior Rating for his snare drum solo “The Glenwood Boy” by Haskell W. Harr. Derek, an LCC senior, received a perfect score for the fourth year in a row.
Christian Staples received an Excellent Rating for his trumpet solo, “The Secret” adapted by Walter Beeler.
Congratulations to all the LCC instrumental participants for a very successful day of performing and representing our school through music.

Thank you for all the hard work and efforts of our middle school students/staff and community volunteers who made our Spring Community Clean-Up Day a success.! One project was landscaping of the new WELCOME sign north of town, which was completed through a Serve Nebraska grant.
