Fantastic job from our middle school students with our Community Outreach/Clean-Up Day painting, pulling weeds, and completing projects together . Everyone did an absolutely awesome job and did a great thing for both our school and our community!










Hands-on learning in action! Students in Fundamentals of Nutrition put their baking skills to the test, while Intro to Technology students explored propulsion with mousetrap-powered cars.

Congratulations to Ruby Tasler, LCC Middle School's Student of the Month for October! Ruby was nominated by both Mrs. Jennifer Backer and Mrs. Erica Mogensen. They had this to share: "Ruby has shown tremendous growth in language and literature, becoming more focused, responsible, and confident in her writing! She is active in cross country and band, balancing her academics and activities well. Dayton was nominated by Mrs. Claire Krepel who had this to say: "Perseverance, kindness, grit, humor , and strong work ethic are all qualities that Dayton clearly exhibits! LCC's Plant Science class had the opportunity to learn from a German research and design engineer. Dominik Schlieper from Geringhoff talked about the company's design process and the testing they conduct here in Nebraska.

Attached is the bracket for the 2025 GNAC High School Volleyball tournament. LCC will host the first round games on Saturday, October 18th.
