The LCC Math Club held events to celebrate Pi Day. Coloring contest for elementary, a penny war between the three administrators, and a contest to recite the most digits of pi by memory. Jericho Langford recited 360 and Derek Nelson recited 97. Mr. Christiansen got the pie.




Today, our 7th & 8th graders attended our Middle School Career Fair. A huge thank you to all our area business individuals who took time out of their busy day to share their careers with our students! What a fun and educational day for our students!






Congratulations to Mrs. Beyeler & our LCC Jazz Band on their outstanding performance at the Coyote Jazz Festival at Vermillion yesterday. Our students performed awesome and had a great day of music and fun!




On March 6th LCC Middle School students participated in the WSC Middle School Music Festival. Each student performed a solo, duet, or a trio and received written and/or verbal feedback from a judge along with a score. Congratulations to all of our students that participated!



Good luck to the Middle School Lego League teams as they compete this weekend at the State Lego League Competition in Lincoln this weekend! We are proud of all your hard work and dedication and know you will do great! Not pictured: Karson Brummels.

Congratulations to Mrs. Beyeler & our 5th/6th grade students who participated in the 5-6 Honor Band Concert tonight at the LCC Middle School. Other schools participating were Allen, Plainview, Wakefield, and Winside & over 100 students performed in the concert. Great job by all!


State Speech will be held @ Kearney High School on Thursday, March 21st. The schedule for the day is attached to this post!

Congratulations to our Middle School Quiz Bowls teams! Our 8th Grade team placed 2nd and our 7th Grade team placed 3rd in their Middle School Spring Quiz Bowl this afternoon at the LCC Middle School.

LCC PTO Middle School Fundraiser:
It's Penny War time at the Middle School from March 11-15! The winning class at the end of the week wins a class pizza party! If together we raise $350 or more for our PTO, Mr. Leonard will take a pie to the face! Good luck & bring your pennies!


The LCC 7th through 12th grade band members and choir members will be performing in the Pop's Concert this Thursday night, March 7th, at 7:00 pm in the main gym in Laurel. The Pop's Concert will also include the high school concert band, pep band, and jazz band. The high school band members will also perform as a percussion ensemble. There will also be various choir performances. Please make plans to attend! Your support of the LCC music program is much appreciated!
