
State One Act Cast/Crew/Coach Recognition (Tuesday, December 5th)
We will be recognizing our State Qualifying One Act Team at halftime of the boys varsity basketball game vs. Homer, Tuesday, December 5th. All members of the crew, cast, as well as directors will be recognized for their wonderful performances, and continued success as they compete at the upcoming State One Act on Thursday, December 7th in Norfolk!

State One Act Information (Overview)


In reserve basketball action @ Randolph today the boys come away with a runner up finish and the Lady Bears take home the championship! 🐻🐻🐻

Congratulations to the LCC One Act cast, crew, and directors on their accomplishment as District Champions and upcoming appearance at the State One Act competition in Norfolk on Thursday, December 7th. We recognize their dedication and significant effort that has led them to success!
The LCC play production is scheduled to perform on Thursday at 8:30 am. Due to the large number of cast and crew members, as well as connected siblings, friends, staff members, etc., the decision has been made to cancel classes for all students (PK-12) on Thursday, December 7th.
Additional information will be posted soon regarding ticket purchases, streaming options, fan apparel, as well as plans for celebratory cast and crew recognition and sendoff.

Just a reminder that the parking and entrances for upcoming Basketball contests is the same that it was during Volleyball Season.
You may park in the south lot, the west lot, along the east side of the school on Wakefield street, or in the Presbyterian Church parking lot to the northeast of the school. Absolutely no parking on the Northside of the school.
Entrances will be marked with yellow flags, and can be found on the northwest side of the building.

🚨LCC One Act are your 2023 C1-4 District Champions!!!🚨 Congratulations students and coaches! LCC will be state bound on Thursday, December 7th @ Johnny Carson Theatre in Norfolk. More information to come in the next few days about performance time, ticket information, and state apparel! 🐻🐻🐻


Thanks to a Coleridge Area Community Fund Grant, our middle schoolers are creating some amazing things at our school! With their Life Skills teachers, Mr. Benson and Mr. DePew, our students in this enrichment activity have created a picnic table and a bench with more to come!

LCC Spelling Bee registration is open for students in grades 3-8 to compete this year! The contest is January 15th from 4:00-6:30 PM at the LCC Community Center. Prizes for the top 3 spellers in each grade with the top speller qualifying for the Scripps Spelling Bee in Omaha!

The FBLA and Entrepreneurship class welcomed Scott and Christy Taylor for American Enterprise Day. The Taylor's shared their knowledge of being a small town business owner, how they were able to get started, and what it means to them to give back to the community. They also shared information on how Scott started the Showcase Nebraska event coming up Saturday, November 18th at the Laurel Community Center.

10 outstanding actors were recognized: Sam Cross, Gabbie Kock, Aric Hall, Jackson Hall, Lilly Pehrson, Abby Tasler, Landen Leonard, Kolten Settje, Laney Folkers, and Emma Sohler.
Emma Sohler and Kolten Settje received overall best actor and actress awards.

Veterans Day Program was held at LCC High School on Friday, November 10. Guest speaker was Robert "Bud" Neel. HS Band, HS Choir and 3rd and 4th grade students each performed a patriotic musical number. The program ended with the playing of Taps." Great appreciation was shown to all those who have served. Thank you veterans for your service. 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 👏 👏
