Congratulations to Treytan Lawyer, LCC Middle School's Student of the Month for September! Treytan was nominated by both Mrs. Patti Cunningham and Mrs. Doris Troyer. They had this to share: "Treytan demonstrates what it takes to be successful - a lot of effort, a positive attitude, asking questions, and learning from mistakes. He always comes to class with a smile and great work ethic! Treytan is gaining confidence in all aspects as a student at LCCMS!"

*A Nebraska State park permit will be required for all vehicles coming into the park and may be purchased upon arrival. Nebraska licensed vehicles are $7 for a day pass, and non-Nebraska licensed vehicles are $14 for the day.

There has been some confusion about the start time of today's Junior High football game vs. Stanton. The game will begin at the scheduled time of 4:00PM!

Tuesday, Sept. 16th, there will be not be a "C" volleyball game vs. Neligh-Oakdale. "JV" will begin at 5:30PM playing a best of 5 match with Varsity to follow.

Lady Bears defeat Elkhorn Valley in straight sets and advance to the championship game where they will face the winner of Pierce & LDNE at roughly 2:00PM!🐻🐻🐻

Lady Bears start off the morning here in Wakefield with a straight sets victory over Wakefield! Finish first in their pool and will wait to see their opponent in the next game at 11:00! 🐻🐻🐻

The Bears are victorious tonight vs. TCNE by a final score of 48-8! Bears are back at home next Friday where they will host LHNE! 🐻🐻🐻

Make plans to attend the FFA Alumni tailgate next Friday, September 19th @ Haskell Field! Serving time is set to begin at 6:00PM!
