As part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of students and staff, our school has planned and is conducting a Reunification Safety Drill. The drill will take place today, November 20th at the Laurel Community Center beginning at 1:30 p.m. Those participating have already been notified, but we wanted everyone to be aware of what was happening. Students in 3rd and 5th grade, their families, as well as some NHS and Student Council students in high school, will be participating in the reunification drill with LCC staff members.
While we hope we don’t ever have to reunify students in an alternative location, we always want to be prepared for any circumstances. The experience gained from this drill will allow us to review our procedures to make any needed adjustments and help train staff.

SING AROUND NEBRASKA
LCC is the place to be - - - for talented students! Four of LCC's fifth and sixth grade students earned their way into the 2024 Sing Around Nebraska choir. Adelaide Clegg (5th), Mason Wiebelhaus (5th), Aizlynn Kossler (6th), and Easton Gould (6th) all auditioned against many other Nebraska 4th-6th graders earlier this year. November 8th and 9th, they will be heading to Kearney to sing alongside 160 other students. The concert will be November 9th at 4:00 pm at the Kearney High School.
Congratulations on a job well done!
