LCC High School students participated in the annual Community Day by spending the afternoon beautifying the community of Laurel, Concord and Dixon. Students and staff worked together to give back to the communities that support them. MS students did the same in Coleridge.

Students and their parents/guardians are encouraged to attend a presentation regarding the new FAFSA completion and submission graduation requirement effective for the Class of 2025. Nebraska law requires all public high school graduates to complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid or the FAFSA starting with the graduating class of 2025. Mr. Gottula will present information regarding the Universal FAFSA requirement as well as the “Opt Out” provision at the LCC High School Parent Teacher Conferences on Thursday, October 25, 2024 in the LCC Learning Center Conference Room at 6:30 p.m

Great job by our middle school team who had a busy afternoon beautifying the community of Coleridge! Awesome to see our students and staff working hard together to complete various tasks whether it was painting, pulling weeds, and/or picking up trash. Many hands make light work!

Middle School Parents Our Coleridge Community Outreach Project takes place on Monday, October 21 from 1:00-3:00 PM. Please send a pair of work gloves with your child as well as work clothes as they may get dirty and/or paint on them. Thank you for your support in this project!

National School Bus Safety Week is October 21-25, 2024. The U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is urging drivers to slow down and be aware of school buses in their communities. Although school buses are one of the safest modes of transportation, injuries and fatalities do occur outside of or near the buses. Most often, these tragedies occur because a motorist has failed to slow down and obey the bus’s stop sign, or to follow local traffic laws. Thank you for helping to keep our students and bus drivers safe!!

Parents are invited to attend any of the session presentations TOMORROW, Friday, October 18th. We extend an open invitation to community members to attend the 11:45-12:45 session at the Laurel campus. Hoping to have a great turnout to learn more about this important topic!
