We will honor our middle school students for their various achievements in their attendance, academics, assessment scores, & extracurricular activities during the school year. Join us on Tuesday, May 21st at 9:30 AM in the Middle School Gym for the celebration. All are welcome!

Come for a night of fun at the LCC Middle School tonight! Our Junior High Science Fair starts at 6:00 PM, the Middle School Spring Concert is at 7:00 PM (students be here by 6:30 PM), and afterwards, we will be enjoying Root Beer Floats, compliments of the LCC Teammates Program!
*State Track Send Off*
We invite the school and community to help send off the state track athletes and coaches, on Thursday, May 16th. We ask any interested community members to line Wakefield Street to the South headed to the highway with signs, or just be ready to wave and cheer as they pass. The van is leaving @ 2:00 PM or as soon as the send off is completed for the students. So plan to be in cheering position by 1:50 PM to ensure you don't miss it!
Our 6th Grade Social Studies class collaborated with our Middle School Makerspace on a clas project constructing ancient artifacts using the Makerspace and presenting their research and artifacts to their classmates and other students. Great to see our creative minds at work!

The LCC Board of Education approved a change to the last day of school for students to facilitate the transition of elementary classrooms into the new school building. The last day of school for students will be Tuesday, May 21st with a regular dismissal schedule at 3:40 pm.
Congratulations to Dreyson Puppe on his outstanding accomplishments at the JH State Track & Field Meet at Gothenburg on Saturday! Dreyson placed 1st in both the 100 Hurdles and 200 Hurdles, setting meet records in both events.
The physical science class visited the Haskell Ag Lab to explore rocketry. T.H.O.R.( the heartland organization of rocketry) provided a learning experience for our students. The students learned some model rocket basics then designed, built, and launched motor and paper rockets.
Our LCC middle schoolers did an awesome job with their Coleridge Community Outreach Project today! Projects included pulling weeds by the cemetery fence, mulching by the community signs, and our Adopt-a-Highway initiative on Highway 57. The kids worked hard and did great today!
