
LCC's 8th grade students participated in the Missouri River Watershed School Festival today. Information shared with them at the event included fossils, invasive species, birds, animal wildlife, glaciation, river formation, caring for the river, and water safety.


Attention 6th Grade Parents!!! - Our 6th graders will be returning home early from their field trip today as they weren't able to go skating. The bus should be back in Laurel by 3:30 PM. Coleridge students will be bussed back from Laurel today. Please plan accordingly!

LCC Athletic Awards Night will be held Monday, May 6th at the Laurel Community Center, set for a 7:00 PM start time. The program for the evening is attached below. There will not be a meal provided, rather desert bars provided by the senior parents. No cost to attend! Hope to see the entire LCC community out to support the hard work of our student athletes and coaches!

Parents and community members, you are invited to the LCC Middle School Music Concert to be held Friday, May 3rd , from 10:00-4:00 PM. The music contest will include large groups, small ensembles, and solos. Make plans to attend!

The Winside Junior High track meet @ Laurel scheduled for Tuesday, April 30th has been cancelled.

Here are the May Baskets that will be drawn for on Wednesday, May 1st. Tickets are $2 each, $8 for 5 tickets, & $20 for 20 tickets. Baskets were created by our 5th and 6th Grade HAL students. Tickets are available today, tomorrow & Wednesday. Money goes to support HAL activities.

The LCC Esports team concluded their Spring season at the Esports state championships held today in Seward. They are coming home with a fourth place medal in the game of League of Legends! Great job competitors! Team members were Walker Stone, Sam Cross, Christian Staples, Avery Stone, and Shane Langford.


On Wednesday, April 24, family ROAR groups from the high school and elementary combined forces for an end of the year celebration. Students came together to focus on conversations and enjoyed a fun afternoon with games, friendly competition and decorating the running trail with side walk chalk. The same groups have combined quarterly throughout the school year to build relationships by completing activities together.
