🥁 LCC “Bear” Marching Band Takes 3rd Place! 🥉
The Laurel-Concord-Coleridge (LCC) “Bear” Marching Band, under the direction of Patti Beyeler and assisted by student teacher Tae Swanson, competed in the 9th Annual March to the Meridian Parade Competition on Saturday, October 10. The LCC Color Guard joined the band for the exciting event!
The Bears were the ninth of 26 marching bands to step off from the Nebraska side of the Meridian Bridge. Led by Drum Major Faith Galvin, the band brought the fiery, Spanish-inspired sounds of “Estancia” by Mike Story to the parade route.
Adding to the excitement, the LCC “Bear,” Avery Stone, was a spectator favorite!

LCC FBLA will be going door to door on October 27th, starting around 5:00 PM, to collect canned goods and other nonperishable food items for the Laurel Food Pantry. We’ll try to visit as many houses as possible!
Want to donate but won’t be home? Feel free to drop off your donations at the school’s front office.
Thank you for helping us support our neighbors and stock the pantry! 🧡

The wait for our September PBIS reward was worth it! The rain finally cleared up and we enjoyed a beautiful fall day playing outside with some high school students playing kickball, dodge ball, and lots of other activities!
